Did you know? Lombardy is not only the home of world-class sparkling wines, its crystal-clear fresh water from the foothills of the also make it a source of exquisite caviar! This tradition goes back a long way: As early as the 16th century, the delicious sturgeon eggs were considered a delicacy at the court of Ferrara under Alfonso d’Este I and II. It’s no wonder, then, that today Italy has established itself as the largest producer of caviar in Europe and the second-largest in the world. During our training you can expect more delicious anecdotes and everything you need to know about these small, black pearls. And what better accompaniment than the elegant Franciacorta from Barone Pizzini, at once the oldest winery and an organic pioneer in the region. Sample their fine Bollicine and immerse yourself in the secrets of the “Metodo Classico”: It’s a sparkling experience you won’t want to miss!
