No other white grape variety from Austria has recently experienced such an upswing as the elegant and spicy Sauvignon Blancs from the south of Austria, from Styria. Critics from all over the world regularly shower the Sauvignons from top vineyards with top ratings. Alongside the Loire in France and New Zealand, the Styrian representatives of the variety are now rightly among the best in the world. Falstaff wine editor-in-chief Peter Moser, with the active help of Wein Steiermark, wrested some of their very best wines from the top vintners in order to be able to present the subtle differences in style and terroir on the basis of some top vintages. In addition to the top wines of the already legendary STK vintners from Gross to Tement, the best newcomers are also presented. A must for lovers of great white wines!
