iDealwine was founded in 2000 by Cyrille Jomand, Angélique de Lencquesaing, and Lionel Cuenca, three wine enthusiasts who met on the Paris stock exchange (Euronext). They combined their passion for wine with knowledge of the financial markets to quickly create a genuine online wine exchange.

With its headquarters in Paris and offices in Bordeaux and Hong Kong, iDealwine has, in just a few years, become the preferred online platform for wine auctions. To complement its offering of rare wines sold via online auctions, iDealwine also provides a wide selection of wines at fixed prices, which is constantly being expanded. These wines come from more than 900 partner estates as well as from the acquisition of private collections, often including particularly old vintages.
