Marisco Vineyards

Marlborough
Blenheim, New Zealand

Located at the north-eastern tip of New Zealand’s South Island, Marlborough is one of the world’s finest wine-growing regions. Here, on the southern side of the Wairau Valley and along the banks of the Waihopai River, Marisco’s vineyards stretch out for some 1,100 hectares. The region enjoys warm days, cooler night-time temperatures and low rainfall, encouraging the intense flavour development which is the hallmark of Marlborough wine. Brent Marris immediately recognised the immense potential of this area, and his “The Kings Series” and “The Ned” wine collections are a stunning vindication of the local terroir. Boasting a portfolio full of quality and diversity, Marisco has built up an excellent reputation among New Zealand’s wine producers. Despite its relatively short history, the winery has consistently produced top-rate wine lines and played a major role in cementing the enormous popularity of New Zealand wines throughout the entire world. This success has attracting the attention of renowned wine critics and secured the respect of competitors, with wines from Marisco winning a number of important awards.
