Roederer Estate

Roederer Estate was founded in 1982 in Anderson Valley in Northern California as the American subsidiary of the renowned Champagne house Louis Roederer. With the aim of bringing the philosophy and high quality standards of the traditional French house to Californian soil, Roederer Estate is now considered one of the leading sparkling wine producers in the United States.

The cool microclimate of Anderson Valley provides ideal conditions for Chardonnay and Pinot Noir, which are sourced exclusively from the estate’s own vineyards. This complete control over cultivation is one of the central quality principles of the house. Even with its first vintage in 1988, Roederer Estate set high standards: the wines are distinguished by finesse, precision, and a remarkable balance of freshness and depth.

Of particular importance are the oak-aged reserve wines, which, as in Champagne, are deliberately integrated into the cuvées and significantly enhance their aromatic depth and structural complexity. Roederer Estate continues to use only the traditional méthode champenoise and combines French expertise with Californian terroir awareness at the highest level.
