Sebastian Späth

Sebastian Späth, born 1991, grew up in a family of bakers in Rastatt in Baden-Württemberg. He studied painting at the State Academy of Fine Arts Karlsruhe with a scholarship from the German Academic Scholarship Foundation as well as the Heinrich-Hertz scholarship for outstanding artistic performance. He went on to complete an apprenticeship at the Deutsche Journalistenschule (German School of Journalism) in Munich. Following periods with Bild, Stern and T-online, he was most recently an editor at Spiegel magazine where he was responsible for the topic of “style”. Späth is a specialist in all things regarding aesthetics and flavour, and writes about both the visual and culinary arts, as well as fashion.
