Stiftsweingut-2

For over 40 years, distinctive wines have been crafted in harmony with nature at the Stiftsweingut Frank Meyer. This family-run winery is located at the foot of the Palatinate Forest in Gleiszellen-Gleishorbach, where premium vineyard sites, old vines, and artisanal care form the foundation of its quality. Work in the vineyard follows a clear principle: only those who respect and nurture their soils can produce long-lasting, authentic wines.

The vineyards feature a variety of soil types—limestone rock, quartz sand, loess, and pebbles—all of which uniquely shape the character of the vines and lend the wines depth, structure, and a distinctive identity. This diversity is preserved and expressed through sustainable viticulture and extensive manual labor.

Some of the vines are over 30 years old, with deep roots—a treasure the winery tends to with great care. Every grape is hand-picked, and every decision in the cellar is made with sensitivity. Without unnecessary intervention, expressive, elegant wines are created—wines with a strong sense of origin and integrity.

Today, Frank and Manuela Meyer run the estate with a clear focus on what truly matters: patience, respect for nature, and the pursuit of wines that tell a story—about the landscape, the vintage, and the passion with which they are made.
