For over 35 years, Fromagerie Tourrette has preserved the tradition of cheese and the authenticity of taste. Our cheese refiners invite you to discover over 150 varieties of cheese—a rich diversity of flavors sourced from exceptional terroirs, all of 100% artisanal origin.
Whether from cow, goat, or sheep, grated, washed, brushed, or blue-veined, all our cheeses go through our aging cellar, where they reach full maturity and develop their finest flavors.
HOW IT ALL BEGAN…
Founded in 1988 by René Tourrette, the restaurant marked the beginning of the Maison Tourrette adventure. Its innovative concept earned it recognition and unprecedented success.
Our restaurant features the world’s largest cheese bell, officially recorded in the Guinness Book of Records in 1989. This unique piece of gastronomic furniture integrates the latest preservation and aging technologies. Standing 1.96 meters high with a diameter of 1.88 meters, it consists of three rotating marble trays that can hold up to 100 different cheeses!

THE TOURRETTE AGING CELLAR – The place where cheeses mature and flavors are born.
Proudly promoting local products selected for their authenticity, our 1500 m² aging cellar ensures the optimal refinement of all cheeses, supplying our stores, the La Cloche restaurant, and our professional customers.
You can find our cheeses in one of our seven stores in Alsace and Champagne.
