“Man-in-cor” (roughly translatable as “hand on heart”) creates pure, natural wine that is true to its name.
The winery is reaping the rewards of the many long years spent in thoroughly developing its wine-making expertise. Today, this more than 400-year-old winery, with its new cellar building barely visible beneath the adjacent vineyard, embodies the traditions and aspiration of the high culture of wine-making. The natural diversity of the vineyards, the rich terroirs with their exposed locations, the biodynamic cultivation methods and Count Michael Goëss-Enzenberg’s no-compromise pursuit of quality – all these factors come together to create wines of a unique character.
The Counts of Enzenberg have been devoting themselves to farming and wine-making for a number of generations now. In Manincor, my wife Frau Sophie and I strive to add a modern aspect to this tradition without losing our respect for the old values. Our philosophy is to retain and cherish the things we treasure, and, at the same time, create something new.
Manincor is the realisation of my deep desire to create healthy and delicious products in a sustainable manner and with the highest possible respect for nature. The estate’s fruit, vines, forests and meadows are certified to be compliant with the EU’s organic standards and the principles of biodynamic cultivation.
