The building housing the restaurant has been run as a traditional inn attracting day-trippers since 1931 and is a legend among the people of Erfurt! To ensure it stays this way, we are going all out, step by step, to make the BACHSTELZE new and exciting while still oozing its familiar old-world charm! The look and feel of MARIA OSTZONE – cool yet relaxed with a vintage vibe – ties in perfectly with the nostalgia and warmth of the BACHSTELZE! The idea of MARIA OSTZONE was born in summer 2015, created by Maria and her partner Matthias, who are moving closer to realising their dream.
