The son of an innkeeper, Toni Mörwald was born in Feuersbrunn, Austria in 1967. He decided on a career in gastronomy at an early age and, since then, has brought an unrivalled dynamism to the culinary world. The list of his professional locations is a long one: among other places, Toni Mörwald has worked at the Imperial Hotels Austria, at the Hotel Bristol Vienna, at the Restaurant Korso Vienna under Reinhard Gerer, at the Palais Ferstel Vienna, and at Kurkonditorei Oberlaa in Vienna. He was awarded his first torque at the age of just 22. Toni has taken part in international cookery competitions, worked in various countries around the world, written numerous cookery books, and made many TV appearances as a celebrity chef. In 1989, he took over his parent’s business in Feuersbrunn and opened up several additional branches. With his innovative ideas, superb culinary skills and dedication to the use of high-quality regional products, Toni Mörwald has become of the Austria’s most successful chefs.
His name stands for the best in Austrian hospitality, whether in restaurants, bistros or hotels. It also stands for a culture of enjoyment in the widest sense, featuring products and ideas that bring taste and elegance to our lives.
