Chartron & Trébuchet

Burgundy
Meursault, France

Stemming from the heart of the Golden Triangle of the Côte de Beaune, Chartron et Trébuchet has embodied the full splendour of the great Burgundy Chardonnays since 1984, and is served in the most exclusive restaurants. Today, this area is the cradle of complex, aromatic and full-bodied wines that reflect the total purity of the Burgundian terroir in a neoclassical style. Under the stewardship of chief oenologist Serge de Bucy, Chartron et Trébuchet has enjoyed a fantastic renaissance:
“In our work as winegrowers and winemakers, we strive to take a modern approach but still remain closely connected to our great Burgundian heritage. In the estate's wine cellars, we use top-class grapes harvested from plots with which we are closely familiar. During the vinification process and development of the Chartron et Trébuchet wines, we endeavour to achieve full maturity and a perfect balance. But we are always patient too – because the vinification of great wines is ultimately a matter of precision. Rather than revolutionising Burgundy, our goal is to bottle its dream-like quality.”
