The three brothers who make up OTTO GOURMET – Stephan, Michael & Wolfgang Otto – are passionate ambassadors of high quality meat. They set up their business back in 2005 based on a rather daring idea of delivering top quality fresh meat online, yet they now command an excellent reputation as a pioneer of GOOD MEAT – not only in award-winning and high-end restaurants but also among discriminating private customers. Around 100 employees now support seven out of nine 3-Michelin-star chefs, 1,000 top chefs from the world of gastronomy and 100,000 or so private customers. The OTTO GOURMET family business makes unfamiliar cuts of meat acceptable for German palates and passes on its many years of meat expertise in its Perfect Meat Academies at the company's own meat competence centre in Heinsberg as well as at events throughout Germany – they ardently beat the drum for GOOD MEAT sourced from species-appropriate animal keeping.
