Toskana, Italy

San Felice is a retreat where guests can rediscover an intimate connection with nature, a place that stimulates all five senses and embodies Tuscan authenticity, reflected in the warm welcome received and in refined food and wine experiences. This ancient Tuscan hamlet perfectly combines discreet luxury and a strong bond with the land, immersed in the evocative landscapes of Chianti Classico. The Estate, which belonged to the Grisaldi del Taja family from 1700 to 1968, is now a precious winery. It has always been charged with creative and innovative energy, as reflected in the production of excellent wines from the very beginning, with the debut of the first Supertuscan ever created in Chianti Classico, Vigorello, in 1968.

With its 150 hectares, 85% of which are dedicated to the cultivation of Sangiovese, San Felice is distinguished by a profound vocation for the production of Chianti Classico which expresses a strong bond with the territory, resulting in iconic wines such as Il Borgo, Il Grigio Riserva and the Grand Selections, ‘La Pieve’ and ‘Poggio Rosso’. Research and experimentation are in its DNA, and, over the years, the winery has promoted projects that have helped protect ancient Tuscan grape varieties, including Pugnitello, the symbol and “signature wine” of San Felice.

In the heart of the Estate, in the middle of the vineyards, lies the historic medieval hamlet. A 5-star widespread hotel since 1992, it is the first Resort in the Chianti Classico area to have joined the Relais & Châteaux international luxury hotel circuit.
