Using top-class products from near and far, the cuisine is influenced by the seasons and treasures regional and organic ingredients – but always places the quality of its dishes above any dogma. The menu celebrates a reduction to the essentials, resulting in a clarity and depth of taste in which the components merge into a harmonious combination. Head chef Stefan Gschwendtner, who took over in 2016, focuses primarily on the quality of the products and preparation of the dishes, and sets exacting standards for himself and his seven-person kitchen crew on a daily basis. Team spirit is the “secret weapon” behind the crew’s success. The outstanding quality of the Speisemeisterei was confirmed by the award of two stars by “Guide Michelin" in 2022, and its rating as Restaurant of the Year 2023 in “Der Große Restaurant & Hotel Guide”.
