At the edge of a majestic oak forest, in the heart of a nature reserve, lies our winery, where the soils consist of a thin layer of earth over an impermeable slate bedrock. This unique terroir is nourished by a rich humus layer of oak leaves and vine roots.

Exclusive Vineyards and Grape Varieties

On the slopes, the finest Cinsault vines thrive, enjoying outstanding sun exposure. A little further down, an exceptional plot of Rolle (Vermentino) is known for its fruity notes of citrus and pear. The magnificent “La Grande Pièce” parcel, located on a plateau, is exclusively dedicated to Syrah, giving the wines distinctive aromas of violets, as well as red and black fruits.

Sustainability and Certifications

Within the wild and mineral-rich environment of the Maures Nature Reserve and the Natura 2000 zone, Ultimate Provence extends over 46 hectares of vineyards, all classified under the AOP Côtes-de-Provence designation. Since 2021, our land has been certified organic and has achieved the highest level (3) of High Environmental Value (HVE) certification—an official recognition of the environmental performance of our winemakers and farmers. This certification is based on indicators present across the entire estate, ensuring that biodiversity is widespread and that the environmental impact of agricultural practices is minimized.

A Unique Winemaking Terroir

On the Perrono plot, named after the family who planted the first vines in the mid-20th century, young white and black Grenache vines have joined the already deeply rooted and majestic Syrah vines. All of this contributes to the unique winemaking terroir of Ultimate Provence.
