The Peter Zemmer Winery in the lowlands of Alto Adige stands for a deep-rooted connection between landscape, climate, and the art of winemaking. For generations, the Zemmer family has cultivated vineyards that span more than 800 meters in elevation – from the sunny valley floor in Cortina s.s.d.V. up to the cool, high-altitude sites at 1,030 metres above sea level. This unique diversity of microclimates and soils is reflected in distinctive, elegant wines that express both character and origin. A special focus lies on white Burgundy varieties, which thrive in the higher altitudes and develop exceptional finesse and freshness.
Sustainability, precision, and skilled craftsmanship are at the core of Peter Zemmer’s philosophy – resulting in wines of depth, finesse, and authentic character.
