The Durup family have been tending their vineyards in Chablis for fifteen generations now.
Today, the estate is owned by Jean-Paul and Valérie Durup, and managed by Romain Ménissier. The current owners took over the estate from Jean-Paul’s father, Jean Durup, who began the renovation of the Château de Maligny and its surrounding vineyards.
The vineyards extend across eleven of the twenty communes within the Chablis appellation, with a total of over two hundred hectares under vine.
Work in our vineyards is carried out according to the principles of integrated viticulture. Vinification takes place in temperature-controlled, stainless-steel barrels to retain the minerality that so characterises our wines.
