From 2011 to 2013, he trained as a chef with Michelin-starred Martin Herrmann at Hotel Dollenberg, followed by a supplementary dual course of study with a focus on hotel management. He had stints at Althoff Seehotel Überfahrt on Lake Tegernsee, Tim Mälzer’s Off Club restaurant, Steffen Disch at the Gasthaus zum Raben, and the Lakeside restaurant at The Fontenay hotel in Hamburg. Since 2018, he has been based in Baden-Baden, where he operates his dual concept of coffee house and Hidden Kitchen gourmet restaurant. His cuisine is expressive and product-focused, yet pared down to the essentials.
