The musical by Michael Kunze and Sylvester Levay – Schönbrunn version

An evening full of music, fine food and exquisite wines awaits you as part of the Baden-Baden Wine & Gourmet Festival.

At the Festspielhaus Baden-Baden, you will experience the successful musical “Elisabeth”, which tells the fascinating story of the Austrian Empress Sisi – lavishly staged with magnificent costumes, outstanding performers and a large orchestra. The historical “Kaiserbahnhof” from 1892 offers the ideal setting for this special evening.

Before the performance, we will treat you to fine Austrian delicacies – inspired by the Empress’s preferences, freshly prepared and elegantly presented. During the intermission, sommelière Natalie Lumpp invites you to an exclusive wine tasting in the Club Lounge. Presented will be distinctive white and red wines from three outstanding Austrian wineries: Weingut Tesch from Mittelburgenland, Weingut Ludwig Neumayer from the Traisental, and Weingut Mantlerhof from the Kremstal.

After the performance, gourmets and music lovers meet for a stylish conclusion at the AIDA Bar: enjoy fine cheeses, a glass of red wine and good conversation in the historic setting of the Kaiserbahnhof.

The Festspielhaus Baden-Baden, with 2,500 seats, is one of the largest venues for classical music in Europe. The combination of neoclassical charm and modern architecture provides the perfect setting for an experience that unites culture and culinary pleasure in the most beautiful way.
