Wine-Pairing Dinner at Brenners: An exclusive gourmet evening with Ta‘ Betta Wines from Malta

As part of the Baden-Baden Wine & Gourmet Festival by Falstaff, wine and food enthusiasts can look forward to a truly special highlight: the Wine-Pairing Dinner at Brenners. This exclusive event brings together the creative cuisine of Farid Fazel, head chef at the renowned Fritz & Felix in Baden-Baden, with the exceptional wines from Maltese boutique winery Ta‘ Betta.

Guests will enjoy a refined tasting menu, perfectly paired with the characterful wines of Ta‘ Betta. The picturesque winery in Girgenti, Malta, run by Dr. Astrid and Prof. Juanito Camilleri, is known for its elegant wines with impressive aging potential. Among the wines presented will be the delicate Syrah Rosé “Isabella Guasconi” and the complex Chardonnay “Jean Parisot,” both expressing Malta’s unique terroir.

Farid Fazel’s creations are based on regionality, innovation, and top quality – in perfect harmony with the Ta‘ Betta wines. Throughout the evening, guests will also gain fascinating insights into the winery’s philosophy, personally shared by its founders.

This Wine-Pairing Dinner is tailored for those who appreciate fine wine and exquisite cuisine in a sophisticated atmosphere. Due to limited availability, early reservation is recommended.

Ta‘ Betta Wine Estates

Das Boutique-Weingut Ta’ Betta bringt die mediterrane Seele Maltas in jeder Flasche zum Ausdruck. Auf vier Hektar terrassiertem Land in Girgenti entstehen rund 25.000 Flaschen im Jahr – handverlesen, charakterstark und voller Persönlichkeit.

Gegründet wurde das Weingut von Astrid und Juanito Camilleri, gemeinsam mit dem renommierten Önologen Vincenzo Melia. Als enger Wegbegleiter von Giacomo Tachis, dem Schöpfer von Ikonen wie Tignanello, Solaia und Sassicaia, steht Melia für einen eleganten, strukturierten Stil, der nun auch Maltas Weinwelt prägt.

Ta’ Betta ist eine Hommage an die Kunst großer Weine – und an die kulturelle Vielfalt einer Insel, die seit Jahrhunderten europäische und mediterrane Einflüsse vereint.
